Pastel painting

Long weekend spent at Higham hall with artist Susan Christopher Coulston drawing flowers in coloured pencils. Very relaxing pleasurable weekend.

We walked on the old mine track a short way then sat on our stools to draw. This is mixed media ink watercolour graphite charcoal and pastels on archers watercolour paper.

This wasn’t an easy puzzle but was fun to do.

This was fun to do and fascinating the part with the cells had it’s back to the hole and upper pods to the inside. It is made of chewed wood and feels like paper.
John removed a wasps nest from our porch, no longer live and interesting to study.

I think she is finished

On a circular needle means no side seams and it is easy on the hands.
