Acrylic ink and Brusho pictures inspired by my niece!

Crowds of clay heads the heads range in size from 8cm to 10cm. They represent us in lockdown unable to enjoy the countryside as we would like. All experiencing limitations beyond our control like having a chronic illness.
The differences in colour are due to the fact that they have been made over weeks and some are still wet!

Over the weeks of the lockdown I have been busy building heads, they are now all waiting for uni to open again so I can get them glazed.

Yet more heads

I look forward to being able to glaze them

I used this image to inform my lino pattern, photogram and ceramic patterns.
My selection of heads continues to grow, I don’t decide what the head will look like before I make it. When I start the making process the shapes tell me what the head will look like. They aren’t attempts at Portraits but they are images of characters.
