Things go wrong and right!

The washer on the baths hot tap failed. 3 plummers later I was given the name of one who would come out. The 3rd plummer gave me the name as he was working in the hospital, he was very helpful and the plummer he gave us was with us the same day.

Busy knitting followed the wrong part of the pattern. The pattern was for round neck with a separate note for if you want a button neck. My son likes the button neck! Thankfully it is easy sorted just means some unpacking. Blaaaa

Life goes on!

We had a virtual family meal yesterday to celebrate my birthday, not the same as the real thing and not helped by me feeling unwell. The headaches I keep getting are due to my blood pressure being too high. It takes a week for the medication to get to the right level. It can’t come too fast.

I have a boil in my right axilla that has burst, it doesn’t look pretty but it feels easier.

I went to my laptop to do some more of my essay only to find it gone! Luckily I was able to fine a previous deleted work so I have retrieved that. That took much of the time I had free before Dungeons and Dragons started. Serves me right for relying on auto save. I really dislike MS word!!!

The trouble with working from home

The bathroom light switch has failed so I have spent nearly 2 hours trying to find an electrician who is still working. Cost £140 my eyes are watering at the thought. I nearly said it’s ok we will use candles.

Next problem the washer has failed on the bath hot tap, our friendly plumber will see us on Monday.

Next problem the new teams meetings. Days for lectures and seminars have changed, or have they? Has the tutor invited me to the wrong days? Will I be sat on my lonesome waiting in vain for my lecture to start?
