I think once you have painted the eyes the picture comes to life. I still have his partner to do.

I wish I had more skill at taking photos but I like how different the books look in doors as compared to out doors. The shadow effect on the wall is very interesting if I had had a stronger light the shadow would have been deeper but then the worry would be that the light would bleach out the colour on the books.

All these masks were photographed within a mile of my home. I printed and painted three sheets to use as backgrounds for the photos and collagraph printed the sheet that became the back of the book

I have been back to the park with yet more of my structures and my boys who act as my helpers (slaves). I think this shows what I was after masks falling from trees. The problem is you can’t see the printing, I think maybe I should have used more of the deeper colours in the print. I may well do another larger one with lots of dark colours.

I went to the park today, not just for a walk but to take the opportunity as it was a fair weather day to put up the art that I have been making and watch the reactions of the people watching the art.

Today I finally stopped procrastinating and started. This one is slightly different for me as none of the three photos have the dogs at the same size and they now are.

The white crosses were the hardest part of this blanket.
The trouble with folding a long strip of paper is it gets difficult to handle
