Most of my art starts with a photograph often taken whilst on a walk but in this case it started with the rotting of out garden fence. The fence had been in place for over 25 years that we (my husband and I )know about. With the outside edge facing the full force of the weather it finally gave up the ghost last summer. The side facing us still looked perfect but the side that faced the weather had been carved by the wind.
